the end of software development?

Notwithstanding the clever witticism of dubious provenance that has been attributed to Mark Twain: I am going to report a possible death.  Software development.  A few months ago I was discussing with a friend that a killer app (that would also cause a lot of job losses) would be an application that took natural language prompts and then generated, not just code, but the entire website or application.  My pick at the time for this application was Figma, so you could just create the user interface and all the code on the backend would be created.
