searching for a sangha

[This is going to be brief, because I have a bunch of stuff I'm putting off doing.]

I am still looking for a sangha, preferably one close to my house. Of course, the enlightened person would say that "the world is your sangha"; but I don't feel like I am there yet.

It would be nice to have some other seekers on the path, hopefully not ones that are looking to profit off meditation. There seems to be a lot of options if you want to spend money for personal peace. There are apps and groups and webinars, etc. All of which seem to be making a terrific amount of money. If only you could get papal indulgences for the hard work of meditating.

I think part of the problem is that I've been fighting some type of plague. It’s a lung crud which has taken a lot of my energy. That and the driving. Nobody around here likes driving.

In other news, the rabbits are definitely teenagers. They are just hopping around the front and back yards eating dandelions and pretending that they don't know me. Silly Surly rabbits. I'm waiting for the to start smoking cigarettes and ask for a ride to the mall.
